OMG OMG -- you must walk . . . . hell no . . . forget that . . . you must RUN to see "Finding Nemo!" I went to see it tonight with my friends Melissa and her fiance Aeryn. I've have been waiting for like FOREVER to see this movie. Watching preview after preview. Getting hooked. Falling for all the hype. Just knowing that I would be disappointed because of all the hype. Totally getting involved with characters -- Bruce "fish are our friends" the great white shark and Crush "grab shell Dude!" the sea turtle -- who -- by the way -- is a 150 years old and still a kid at heart. How can you NOT love this character. A turtle after my own heart! So tonight I plucked down my $9.50 and went and I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard during a movie. I was CRYING I was laughing so hard. I thought Pixar outdid itself with Monster's Inc. Pixar totally rocked with this movie. The animation is incredible. You can follow the story line. The characters are believable for animated characters and Pixar did a fabulous job at matching voices to characters too. I haven't been this excited about a movie since the first Harry Potter movie. How sad is that? Anyway, everyone should check it out even if you don't normally like animated features. Even if you didn't like Monster's Inc. You should go. Now. Right now. What are you waiting for? Why are you reading this when you should be watching this movie? :)
Anyway, much news to report for Fandamonium. I'm so excited about it. I can't believe that it's only 2 months away. We got Tony as the short track coach and JP Kepka agreed to participate too. I've still got sooo much to do for it. I need make my travel plans. Yikes, times a wasten!
As for everything else, everthing is still the same. Work has been okay. Nothing new to report. Still very stressful. Still working late. Training has been going okay. I've got my next race on June 14. It's another 5k. I have people actually coming to cheer me on for this one. I never told anyone about the first race because I wasn't sure I would be able to make it and if I couldn't make I didn't want any witnesses. heeheehee! So I've been running my ass off 4 times a week minimum. My legs seem to turn to lead the last half mile or so. But I'll do it. I'll have pictures this time to prove it. Maybe. Hopefully.
