Okay. Here it is. The results of my 5k race last Saturday. The race was a fundraiser for the San Diego Blood Bank. I ran the race in 33 minutes 38 seconds. I came in 224th place but I'm not sure where that is in relation to everyone else since the SDBB hasn't posted the results on their website as of this morning. I felt really good after the race and I wasn't sore at all. I knew it would be easier than my normal run only because the course was completely flat and my normal course isn't but it still was harder than I anticipated. I didn't even stop to catch my breath or anything AND I passed other runners. So I'm happy and pleased with myself. My next goal is a 10k (6 miles) and then after that a half-marathon (13 miles).

My stress level has gone down ever so slightly. Lots of drama at work that I'm not even going to begin to get into here. They did the attorney shuffle at work last week so we'll see if things get better. I'm still three weeks behind where I want to be but I did manage to get some housework, website and Fanda stuff done this weekend. Whew! Some of the pressure is off.

Speaking of Fandamonium -- congrats go out to Derek and Caroline for the awesome t-shirts that they did that were auctioned off on eBay! Derek's quite the little "artist." Derek's first shirt went for $90 and his second one just sold for $51. Caroline's shirt went for $77. Woo hoo! Way to go you two! And a big thanks to those who bought the shirts. I expect to see them in August during Fandamonium.

Also, if you get a chance, check out Erina's new site for female skaters. It's pretty cool but needs some publicity.

Well that's about it for now. I don't have a picture to share right now but I'll post one later. I'm sure I can find one that makes me smile!
