Hip Hip Hooray!

ST Gear is alive and kicking everyone! April the site is absolutely fabulous! I'll be ordering as soon as payday hits. Everyone go check it out . . . now . . . right now . . . don't wait . . . what are you still hear for?

Now for those of you who are still around instead of checking out ST Gear here is the continuing saga of Shrek, the poor New Zealand sheep that escaped the clutches of the sheep shearer for 6 whole years. Well I'm hear to report that Shrek can no longer roam the hills and mountains of New Zealand, bragging to all his little sheep friends that he has again evaded the clippers. Yes, it's official . . . .

Shrek Gets Sheared!

Here's before . . . .

And here's after . . .

And here's during the shearing process . . .

You can read about the story and see more pictures . . .

Shrek fleeced after years on the lam

Thanks Christine for originally alerting us to the tantalizing tale that is Shrek but alas, he is but a normal sheep now, hopefully spending his golden years frolicking on some sheep farm somewhere looking back fondly on the days when he was a 9 day wonder.

All right . . . all right . . . I'll post something . . .

. . . just quit sending those Six Feet Under guys over to my apartment . . . I'm alive . . . really! *wink* Okay after much ribbing because I haven't posted in a while I'm posting. A lot has happened since my last post. U.S. Nationals in Cleveland (and yes I will post pictures), Molly's birthday dinner, updating Derek's site, my grandfather's birthday, Easter, finding out I'm going to be an auntie again (dammit Heather I told you and Mario that you had to actually use the condoms after you bought them . . . wha? . . . oh sorry . . . way too much info huh?) to name but a few things happening since my last post. Right now I'm watching the Red Wings play the Calgary Flames and the Flames are winning. (update - Flames won) I can't believe how out-of-the-loop I am in hockey right now. I'm usually pretty hip as to what's going on. I couldn't even tell you who made the playoffs for the Stanley Cup right now. Oh well.

Anyway, since I haven't done one in a while, here's my Ten on Tuesday:

Ten Favorite Cartoons:

1. Scooby Doo!!!!
2. Bugs Bunny/Looney Toons (and I will hold him and pet him and call him George!)
3. Buzz Lightyear
4. Dexter's Laboratory
5. The Herculoids
6. Yogi Bear
7. The Perils of Penelope Pitstop/Wacky Racers
8. Inspector Gadget
9. The Wild Thornberrys (who wouldn't want to be able to talk to animals?)
10. Kim Possible (she rocks!)

Honorable mentions: South Park, Tarzan, As Told By Ginger, Chilly Willy, Daria, Fillmore, Huckleberry Hound, Chalk Zone to name a few. Actually, this was really hard to narrow down (hence the honorable mentions) and I know I'm leaving a lot out. Yes, I'm a cartoon junkie. Always have been. If I'm not watching cartoons I'm watching CNN, MSNBC, some history show or the Food channel. Yes, you heard right, the food channel. This in itself is pretty funny since I barely know how to cook and the only reason I even know where my kitchen is is because my cat's food bowl is in there. Go figure.
