Panic Mode!
Yes, it's official, I have reached panic mode.
Warning - Vent in progress!
Now to explain why I'm in panic mode: I finally broke down and ordered my own skates. I got my blades from Mario and had ordered my boots, via Glenn, from Bont. I got my blades (and all the paraphernalia that goes with them) within a week of my ordering them. Mario was fabulous, even calling me to double check on something that he thought I had ordered but wasn't sure.
My boots, now that's a different story and that's why I'm in panic mode. In a nutshell - they're not here. I leave for vacation on Saturday and need to take them with me. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks for me to get them and, as of tomorrow, it'll be 4 weeks since they were ordered. Not only that, no one seems to be able to let me know when I can expect them and, so far, Bont has not returned my email requesting a status and/or a FedEx tracking number. My email to Glenn proved to be just as fruitless since he couldn't give me an ETA either and could only tell me that this is Bont's "busy" season but I should have them soon. WTF is soon?! How soon?! So here I sit with blades but no boots to attach them too. SIGH!
